WOW!

They've placed the wound vac on Tom's leg. I peeked at it, it's a large area. It's a good thing Tom doesn't know what's going on. I just can't believe all of this is happening to him! He may go into shock when he wakes up and sees his leg. Dr. Rosen will check the wound vac on Wednesday and re-assess at that time. He might have to remove some more tissue. Most likely Tom will remain on the vent. I guess that's better but I don't like it. The strength to get through this is only from God. Tom is finally getting some food through a feeding tube in his mouth. Poor guy was probably starving. I know he rather be eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but he'll have to wait a bit longer. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.
