They took Tom back at 12:15. According to the color coded chart, he is in "prep-holding". I hope he is actually in surgery by now. I left and took all his stuff to the car. He won't be assigned a room until he is in recoverey. Then I can haul it all back in.
I may or may not get an update while he is in surgery. They announce your name over the loudspeaker. That won't help my heart rate when they call our name.
Thanks for your prayers. I've been really calm and didn't even cry when I said good-bye to Tom. I know he is in God's hands.
